Once again I find myself preparing to embark on another epic summer adventure in our great and beautiful country. This adventure will be the exact opposite of last summer as I will be traveling up the more heavily populated Atlantic Coast with my buddy Folker versus riding solo through truly remote landscapes. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Folker during the TransAmerica Trail adventure and he has agreed to join me this summer for what should prove to be a journey full of laughter and good times.

Folker will arrive in early June from the Netherlands and we will drive White Lightning (WL) to Key West, Florida where the rest of my family will join us via a large mechanical bird to begin their own summer adventure. The destination for Folker and I will be Bar Harbor, Maine and it promises to be another interesting adventure…
